Group Therapy

Group Therapy

A supportive space to build connection, develop skills, and share experience with others.

Group therapy offers a structured, supportive environment where people can learn, reflect and practise skills with others moving through similar experiences.

We start by listening — really listening — to understand your needs and pace. From there, we shape a path that’s realistic, sustainable, and tailored to you. Every session is a safe space to explore, reflect, and grow without judgment.

Shared learning, steady support

Shared learning, steady support

The group setting can build confidence, reduce isolation and help skills feel easier to practise beyond the session. Sharing a space with people working through related challenges can offer a different perspective and opportunities to learn from one another, alongside guidance from a clinician.

Depending on the group’s focus, sessions may include guided discussion, reflection and practical exercises for managing emotions, coping with stress or communicating with others. You can explore how strategies apply to your own circumstances and consider small steps to practise between sessions.

Group therapy is not the right fit for everyone at every stage. We can discuss your goals and support needs before recommending a program, including whether individual therapy might be more suitable or helpful alongside it. Clear expectations around respect, participation and privacy are an important part of the group experience.
