Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Personalised, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents and adults, at every stage of life.

Individual therapy gives you a steady, confidential space to understand what is happening, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward change at a pace that feels sustainable.

Individual therapy gives you a steady, confidential space to understand what is happening, strengthen your coping skills, and move toward change at a pace that feels sustainable.

We start by listening — really listening — to understand your needs and pace. From there, we shape a path that’s realistic, sustainable, and tailored to you. Every session is a safe space to explore, reflect, and grow without judgment.

Practical support for real change

Practical support for real change

We work collaboratively and gently, drawing on evidence-based approaches while keeping your lived experience at the centre of the work. Together, we explore what has brought you to therapy, what feels difficult at the moment and what you would like to be different.

Sessions can help you recognise patterns in your thoughts, feelings and responses, and develop ways of managing anxiety, low mood, stress or change. Depending on your needs, this may include practising coping strategies, making room for difficult emotions, strengthening boundaries or navigating relationships with greater clarity.

Therapy is shaped around your age, circumstances and goals. There is space to talk things through, alongside practical ideas you can try between appointments. We review what is helping and adjust the approach as your needs change, without expecting progress to look the same every week.

If you are looking for individual therapy in Newcastle or the Hunter, you can start by telling us a little about the support you need. Our team can discuss clinician fit, appointment availability and whether in-person sessions in Adamstown or telehealth may suit you.
