Mel brings a down to earth, genuine warmth into every session, the kind of presence that makes it easy to be honest about what's really going on. She's especially skilled at helping clients understand their own patterns and find practical, sustainable ways through them.

Melanie Cox
Mel is a registered psychologist known for creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without judgement. She understands that seeking support can feel confronting, and she focuses first on building a strong, respectful therapeutic relationship before anything else.
She works with clients to make sense of what’s going on for them, understand their patterns, and develop practical ways to manage challenges, helping people move away from cycles of guilt, shame, and self-criticism toward a more balanced relationship with themselves. Mel has particular interest and experience in grief, addiction and recovery, and more complex or long-standing patterns, alongside her broader work in anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment and relationship difficulties.
Outside of Work
Mel is a mum who enjoys staying active, getting outdoors, camping, and music, and she brings that same sense of humour and real, grounded presence into the therapy room.
