
Mackenzie is a Provisional Psychologist completing her professional practice under the supervision of Principal Psychologist, Georgia Gardiner. She holds a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Newcastle (2024) and brings experience across private practice and sport psychology settings.
She is passionate about working with a broad range of clients, with a particular interest in disordered eating and body image concerns. Mackenzie has completed comprehensive training in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders through Eating Disorders Training Australia. She also enjoys supporting individuals navigating high-pressure environments, including sport and performance settings, and welcomes clients supported through the NDIS.
Mackenzie is accredited in the Cool Kids Program and has experience supporting children and adolescents to build confidence and resilience, develop coping skills and manage anxiety.
Her approach is warm and client-centred, drawing on evidence-based nterventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Enhanced CBT for eating disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where people feel valued and at ease. Using a collaborative, strengths-based approach, Mackenzie guides clients in developing practical coping skills, navigating emotions, and working towards meaningful outcomes.
Mackenzie offers 50-minute appointments at a concession rate of $85. As a Provisional Psychologist, she is currently not eligible for Medicare rebates while completing her provisional registration.
